Tornado Energy Crowned 2017 World of Tanks Grand Finals Champions

While we unfortunately weren’t able to cover it in person as in previous years, the World of Tanks Grand Finals went down over the weekend in Moscow and a new champion has been crowned. Tornado Energy took down DiNG, winning seven out of nine rounds, after previously smashing multiple teams. Tornado takes the crown from Na’Vi, who won the tournament last year.

After a rocky start, TORNADO ENERGY punctuated a 7:2 victory in a highly dramatic series, ending with applewOw’s epic performance on Cliff where he was left one-on-one with the only surviving enemy tank. Unlike last year’s fiasco, applewOw this time masterfully destroyed the opposition, showing everyone it’s about time the infamous sign was removed from the map for good.
