The Gears of War 4 community is going strong, and a significant update is on the way. The violent shooter will be receiving a staggering amount of new content for their online portion, and the best thing about it is that it’s all free.
For starters, each of the five classes will receive three new skills, along with a new cap at level 6. In addition, two new difficulties have been added (Inconceivable and Ironman), there’s 500G worth of new achievements, two new maps (Avalanche and Rust Lung), crossplay finally coming to ranked mode, and various other that help tune and balance the gameplay.
Microsoft has also dropped a nearly two minute long trailer for Rise of the Horde, showcasing a number of the updates. Gears of War 4 is available right now for Xbox One and PC, with Rise of the Horde coming for free June 6.
