Toukiden 2 is a Monster Hunter type of game. That said, it takes on a faster sort of pace than its contemporaries and doesn’t really try to just copy the successful franchise many may liken it to. Boasting a story with heavy influence from Japanese folklore and a feudal Japan type of steampunk, the aesthetic feel of Toukiden 2 can be quite interesting to some. But to be more specific, the Free Alliances Version is actually a free-to-play sort of offshoot from Toukiden 2 proper. With the Free Alliances Version, players can go on adventures or quest modules that feature co-op with friends who both own and don’t own Toukiden 2. But being free-to-play, Free Alliances has a Stamina limit of three. These Stamina points will recharge over time in the span of about eight hours and are necessary for playing the game. Of course, real money can be used to get more Stamina along with other quality of life features.
See a breakdown of the Free Alliances version below. Toukiden 2: Free Alliances Version is available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
