Hot on the heels of the announcement that Fortnite would finally be entering Early Access this July, Epic Games have released an official E3 2017 trailer for the game as well, as seen below. In contrast to the general opinion of other E3 trailers, though, this one actually doubles as a general overview of the gameplay, giving us a nice and meaty four-plus-minute look at the game and its mechanics in action in order to help prepare you for its upcoming initial release.
After a bit of a standard trailer that acts as a sizzle reel, we then get a more detailed introduction to the world of Fortnite. We get to see its randomly-generated areas with different resources to gather for crafting, the various ways you can build your forts and how you can build them on the fly, and the different weapons and gadgets you can make, play styles you can use, and character classes you can play as, among other things. It all looks heavily impressive and damn fun indeed in both style and gameplay (after all, how can you go wrong with a game where “ninja” is a character class), and gives us quite a lot to look forward to when Fortnite makes its first impressions this July, so stay tuned to Hardcore Gamer for our potential thoughts on it soon.
