If you’re still listening to your TV’s direct Stereo speakers whilst playing the biggest and most bombastic AAA games, then you’re probably doing something wrong. There are numerous manufacturers that offer various means of enhancing your audio experience, one portion of a video game that is highly underrated. One of those companies happens to be Turtle Beach, and today they’ve revealed a couple of new headsets.
Turtle Beach has announced their latest additions to their Stealth lineup: the 700 and 600 series. Both of these will come in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions, but more importantly, they will feature fully wireless connection on both platforms. For Xbox One, the Stealth 700 and 600 headsets will take advantage of Microsoft’s Windows Sonic for Headphones while the PlayStation 4 will include DTS: Headphone:X surround sound for the former, and Turtle Beach Virtual Surround Sound for the latter.
Both headsets on both consoles will also include Turtble Beach’s Superhuman Hearing sound setting, giving competitive players the advantage on the battlefield. Finally, these will also be noise-cancelling headphones, have Bluetooth connectivity, and will include glasses-friendly cushioning.
The Stealth 700 will run players back $149.95 while the 600 model will be priced at $99.95 sometime this September.
