Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver broke the news of a confirmed release date by releasing a new trailer for the game. Set in 15th century Bohemia, you take the role of Henry, the son of a blacksmith – whose life is ruined by a band of mercenaries that butcher his village and murder his family. The raid is ordered by King Sigismund, and Henry’s story takes off from there in a tale of revenge.
Henry isn’t a one-sided protagonist – he is a survivor and works towards fighting for the future of his people in the civil war that will take place. If you missed out on the beta, the game is quite realistic, with combat being methodical, attacking must be well-timed and deliberate. There’s a wide array of quests and places to explore, and getting Henry through the story is also dependent on decisions you make.
