While we may have seen more of FIFA 18 for fellow current-gen platforms, we didn’t see any of what this year’s release would look like on Switch having already been confirmed that FIFA would be on Nintendo’s platform, in some shape or form. Well EA have confirmed that FIFA on Switch is indeed FIFA 18 and not a separate release to that on other platforms.
FIFA 18 on Switch, however, won’t feature the single-player The Journey mode. The game will output at 1080p in docked mode with the portable mode outputting at 720p. The game will also support local two-player multiplayer using the system’s Joy-Con sharing functionality as well as the console’s range of controller supports including the Pro Controller. FIFA 18 for Switch will be available September 29.
