The beloved and highly-entertaining Yakuza series is in full swing once again as Sega shows off more of the series’ next main entry with the latest trailer for Yakuza 6. The series will see its latest transition to that of the new Dragon Engine as well as a change in setting, this time taking players to Onomichi — a sleepy port town in the Hiroshima Prefecture — alongside the returning locale of Tokyo’s red light district of Kamurocho.
Series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu is certainly not having it easy once more, as a new and more personal dilemma begins to unravel which the game claims will test how far people are willing to go for family. Though already out in Japan, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life still has a vague 2018 release window here in the West and has been reaffirmed as being exclusive for PS4.
