E3 2017: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is Remade with Additional Features

After all the huge Switch announcements at E3, the Treehouse team focused on 3DS titles. One that came as a surprise is Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions.

Princess Peach has lost her voice and it’s up to Mario and Luigi to get it back!¬†Everything is pretty much the same as the 2003 GameBoy Advance original. Graphics remain pixelated but given an upgrade. A new mode has been added to the game in Minion Quest.

It’s a storyline that is happening alongside the events of Mario and Luigi’s journey. You play as Bowser’s minions on a mission to reunite with him during such a trying a time. The hero of this is Captain Goomba (along with other captains) who must control the battlefield and line up an army for each enemy encounter. Characters have different strengths and weaknesses to keep in mind. There is new gameplay and strategy to come up with. Give your team stat upgrades to buff them up through the game. Two amiibo figures, Koopa and Goomba, are also set to offer some help when used on the New 3DS.

It will be available for the 3DS on October 7. Take a look at the renewed classic in the announcement trailer below.
