E3 2017: Nintendo Announces Metroid Prime 4 For Switch, Drops Mic

No, that headline is not a hoax. After years of complaining and joking over Nintendo not giving the Metroid franchise the attention and respect it deserves, not helped by Other M and Federation Force, Nintendo dropped a major bombshell during their E3 presentation today with the announcement of Metroid Prime 4, now in development for the Nintendo Switch.

Not much else is known at the moment, mind you, but as you can see below, all we needed was an official teaser with a simple “4” to whip up the entire internet into a frenzy. We’ll keep you up to date with more details on Samus’ new adventure as they surface, but for now, time to still wonder that if this is possible, will we indeed get a new Mega Man game soon…?
