After a rough start with Phoenix 1, it seems Rami “Inori” Charagh has now joined Team Liquid.
Phoenix 1 is currently the last placed team in the LCS having not found a win all split. During the four weeks they’ve been playing they’ve started two different supports and three different junglers. Maybe the team just wanted to go in a different direction altogether or maybe there was inner team turmoil, but regardless Inori is now a member of Team Liquid and they’re back to having a 10 man roster.
They aren’t there yet, but TL is looking to go back to their old ways and have a very competitive roster both in-house and on the rift. With a 10 man roster, they’re able to actually groom younger players, but also put pressure on players that are starting to keep them playing well. Last time they had an academy team, however, Piglet took a little sabbatical and played with them all split. How they’ll go about it this time around only time will tell, but in the meantime, if you’re a Challenger player looking to go pro now is your shot.
