A strategy title that has stood the test of time and come out with a sequel today: Sudden Strike 4 is a real-time strategy war game centralized on World War II. It plays relying on specific tactics like exploiting a tank’s weakness, setting ambushes and altogether outmaneuvering the enemy. Positioning is important, and in times of need, so are air strikes. Much of it is scenario-focused, revolving around the storming of the beaches of Normandy, or defending Moscow as the Soviets. The game features three different campaigns: the Allies, the Germans, and the Soviet forces, across over twenty missions wherein players will take command of over a hundred units. There’s also a challenge mode for skirmishes and multiplayer of up to eight players.
See the launch trailer below. Sudden Strike 4 is out now on PC, Mac, and SteamOS, with a PlayStation 4 version due on August 15.
