Fans of futuristic racing have been able to enjoy Redout: Lightspeed Edition on PC, and we’ve covered it countless times thanks to a variety of sales and DLC updates along with regular content updates. Today, the outstanding and super-fast racer has launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Redout offers up challenging and rewarding action across 35 tracks. You have a wide variety of vehicles and can use skill trees to upgrade it as you do better. Redout: Lightspeed Edition is available across North America for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 now and will be released across Europe on August 31. Anyone who grew up loving the Wipeout or F-Zero franchises should definitely check it out, as it checks many of those same boxes – but with a far higher level of graphical fidelity, and a more user-friendly gameplay design that is more forgiving than either of those.
