South Park: The Fractured But Whole Introduces Skin Color Changes Affecting Difficulty

As much as Matt Stone and Trey Parker love to cross the line, this should come as no surprise. Claiming that The Fractured But Whole is the television episode they have always wanted to make, fans should expect the vulgarity to far surpass The Stick of Truth. Eurogamer has released a video showcasing the character creation and what happens when you get to skin tone.

The darker the character’s skin tone in The Fractured But Whole, the more difficult the game is. Cartman narrates, “don’t worry, it doesn’t actually affect combat, just every other aspect of your life.” It ranges from Easy with the lightest choice to Very Difficult with the darkest. This could just be a joke or it could actually affect the game.

South Park The Fractured But Whole is due out October 17. Be sure to read our latest hands-on preview here.
