Codemasters released what is possibly the best Formula One racing game to date with F1 2017. The company has also jumped on the Esports bandwagon with the F1 E-Series. Qualification has officially begun with round one being at Monza. Through the end of this week, players can log onto the Events section of F1 2017 and compete in a challenge involving the Force India race team and Monza circuit. Racing A.I. drivers, players will need to place on the podium to record their times and scores. Assists and driving styles also play into the scores, as ultimately this determines your placement in the tournament.
Registration is easy as players will link either their PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, or Steam ID to the service. Then it is as simple as jumping into the events page on the game. There will be another qualification round at the Suzuka circuit that runs from September 18-26. The top 40 racers will compete in-person in London for the semi-finals. Register and get racing now and show you’ve got what it takes to be the first-ever Formula 1 Esports Series World Champion and win some amazing money-can’t-buy prizes, including a VIP trip to the 2018 Formula 1 race of your choice (excluding Australia, Singapore and Brazil).
