Bungie: Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris is Real

Bungie has confirmed that Curse of Osiris is indeed Destiny 2’s first DLC expansion.

Destiny 2 has only been out a week, but the first expansion has already been leaked. Curse of Osiris was accidentally leaked last week by the Xbox Store, which published copious amounts of details about it. The story would focus on Osiris, feature a new open area set on Mercury, a new social space, and tons of new gear. Well, it turns out the whole thing is real.

Bungie marketing director Eric Osborne took to Twitter to confirm that Curse of Osiris is indeed real:

Destiny 2 will see two expansions in it’s lifetime before next year’s inevitable super expansion. Curse of Osiris already appears to be a massive improvement over Dark Below and House of Wolves, which both only launched with a handful of story missions, an end-game activity, and no new areas. Curse of Osiris is looking to be filled to the brim with quality new content to explore. No word on a release date quite yet.

Destiny 2 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One with the PC version launching October 24.
