Activision and Sledgehammer Games have released a brand new trailer for Call of Duty: WWII, highlighting the dark tone of the campaign.
World War II was a brutal, ugly war that showcased the worst of humanity. Sledgehammer Games is hoping to bring that grittiness and tone to Call of Duty: WWII, and, if the latest story trailer is any indication, it looks like they’re doing it justice.
Call of Duty:WWII follows the story of Private Ronald “Red” Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division. After getting his first taste of combat on D-Day, Red and his team must fight across Europe to Germany in attempt to end the Nazis hold on the continent. Along the way, he’ll come face-to-face with cruelty of the Nazis, and have to choose between the mission and his comrades.
Call of Duty: WWII is out November 3 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
