“Brotherhood of Heroes,” a new documentary from Sledgehammer Games in preparation for the release of Call of Duty: WWII, goes into detail about the places in which the game will take place, the battles that were fought there, and the impact those battles had on the war and the world.
Featured in the video are multiple members of the Sledgehammer team, including co-founder and studio head Michael Condrey, co-founder and other studio head Glen Schofield, and the working World War II historian on the project, Martin K.A. Morgan. They detail the history and story behind their game, and what it means to take on such a big conflict. Joe Salad, Sledgehammer’s art director, and Scott Whitney, the narrative director on WWII talk about how going to the sites of the battles they’d be retelling the story of helped them make it feel more real. Call of Duty: WWII will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 3.
