Dontnod Entertainment’s upcoming vampiric decision-based RPG Vampyr, had previously been scheduled to release in the latter periods of this year sometime, however it’s now been confirmed by the developer themselves that the game has unfortunately been pushed back into spring of next year. CEO of Dontnod, Oskar Guilbert, explains that the delay was due to “the polishing and balancing phase, much needed for a game of Vampyr’s scope”.
Unforeseen technical issues (now resolved) also meant that the development schedule had seen a significant enough knock to warrant such a delay. As a result, this could mean the game is anywhere up to seven or eight months away now from release. Vampyr is planned for release across PS4, Xbox One & PC.
