Ubisoft today confirmed the voice actor for Cleopatra in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Taking to the Assassin’s Creed Twitter account, the publisher revealed that actor Zora Bishop would be playing the historical Egyptian figure in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed title.
“One-half of the power struggle tearing Egypt apart, one of the most famous names in history, @ZoraBishop is Cleopatra,” Assassins Creed UK tweeted.

Bishop, who is an alumnus of the Manchester School of Theatre, previously starred in Frontier Developments’ Elite Dangerous: Horizons and alongside Sherlock actor Martin Freeman in 2015’s The Eichmann Show.
Bishop welcomed the announcement on Twitter, saying that “It’s official” and that she is “So proud to have been involved in Assassin’s Creed Origins.”
Actor Alix Wilton Regan, who plays Aya in Origins, also took to Twitter to express her excitement in the news.
“Ladies and Gents, the mega-talented beauty playing Cleopatra is @ZoraBishop — wildly funny [in real life] and brilliantly ruthless as Cleo,” she tweeted.
Ubisoft announced the other cast members in subsequent tweets, which included Regan and Abubakar Salim as the actor behind main protagonist Bayek.
Origins was first announced at E3 2017 and is the tenth main installment in Ubisoft’s blockbuster gaming franchise. It’s the first main series Assassin’s Creed title since 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will launch worldwide on October 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
