Nintendo and Bethesda Softworks have revealed when Doom will finally hit the Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo’s latest console/handheld hybrid is set to get it’s goriest game yet. Players were shocked when Nintendo and Bethesda announced that the ultra-violent, yet ultra-awesome, Doom 2016 would be making it’s way to the Switch. Well, now we know Switch players won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on one of 2016s best games.
Doom for Nintendo Switch comes packed with almost everything included in the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions. You’re getting the full campaign and multiplayer experiences, though you will need to download a patch at launch that will add-in the multiplayer component. On top of this, players will get all the DLC maps, ultra-nightmare mode, and arcade mode. Unfortunately, Snapmap will not be available on Switch. Developer Panic Button has done a fantastic job getting the game to run on the Switch hardware, but there are limitations. Unlike the other versions that run at 60fps, the Switch version will only run at 30fps. Still, the game does look really good.
Doom hits Nintendo Switch November 10 for $59.99. The game is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
