Deep Silver and Codemasters have announced a rather large update for F1 2017 that adds a good bit of content. The biggest aspect of this update will be the Photo Mode. This will give players the ability to create, save and share incredible action shots from within the game. A number of enhanced eSports-related features are also included, the most notable of which is a brand new spectator mode which adds a “TV-style” broadcast element on the left hand side of the screen. You can now showcase the current running order as well as various other statistics. This is available on PS4 and Xbox One only.
Patch 1.9 also includes the much requested updated car liveries. You can check out some of the screens below. This also includes updated car performance. Also included is a Spectator UI to customize the look of watching races, a LAN mode for PS4 and PC, and a new Grid Editor for multiplayer races. Check out the Codemasters Blog for more inforation.
