During the Animal Crossing Mobile-themed Nintendo Direct, fans received some big news they’ve long been waiting for. It’s a big step for Nintendo’s mobile games division and should certainly give the platform a boost. Today, we all learned the title and a bit of what to expect.
Players are in charge of a campground which you can decorate with crafted furniture. There are new materials to collect and even order. Instead of outright buying a sofa, you just get to create your own. Animal villagers can come visit and become friends which is measured by a Friendship Level. The more interaction you have with one character and placing some of their favorite items around will increase that level. Fishing and bug catching is back and could play an important role when gathering supplies. You can even exchange codes with friends and visit their camps.
Pocket Camp is the perfect way to have players explore the outdoors while making it feel like home. There are plenty of other features to enjoy that will feel familiar to veteran players! The game will release for free in late November for Android and iOS devices. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
