Sega today announced that the platformer title Decap Attack has arrived on Sega Forever.
Decap Attack, which was released in 1991 on the Sega Genesis, had players take control of Chuck D. Head, a mummy created by Dr. Frank N. Stein and sent on a mission to take on Max D. Cap’s underworld army.
“Like the rest of the Sega Forever collection, Decap Attack boasts added features like leaderboards, cloud saves, and controller support,” Sega said.
Released earlier this year for iOS and Android devices, Sega Forever hosts a collection of past Sega titles spanning multiple consoles, from the Sega Genesis to the Dreamcast.
Games that are already available as part of Sega Forever include Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star II, Kid Chameleon, Golden Axe and Crazy Taxi.
Sega Forever is built around a free-to-play model, which uses ad support for the service.
However, Sega does allow for titles to be purchased individually at $1.99 (£1.99/€2.29), which effectively removes ads for a player.
Decap Attack is available for both iOS and Android devices.
