It has been a very busy year for video cards. NVIDIA still holds an advantage on the market with its performance over the recently released AMD Vega cards. NVIDIA has now sweetened its deal with unveiling the GTX 1070ti, which sits nicely between its 1070 and 1080 line of cards. The price point will be around $450, which also will sit in between the two cards. The 1070 series is focused on 1440p and VR gaming, but the 1070ti will up the statistics for an even better experience.
The GTX 1070 is capable of hitting over 60 FPS at 4K on quite a bit of titles. Personally, I own a GTX 1070 and its no slouch, but the 1070ti raises the bar with a 1607 MHz clock speed which puts it closer to the 1080. The memory bandwidth of the 1070ti runs at 8 Gbps, where as the 1080 gets 10 Gbps. MSI, Zotac, Palit and ASUS are confirmed to be working on GTX 1070 Ti cards. Maybe this will mean that the GTX 1070 will see a price drop soon. The GTX 1070ti launches November 2.
