Steven Gilmour Abandons Bioware’s Anthem

During E3 2017, Bioware and Electronic Arts unveiled Anthem. This looks to be a beautiful game played in the third person that feels like Destiny. According to GamingBolt, the Lead Animator for the project has left the studio. According to his LinkedIn profile, Steven Gilmour is no longer in that position. The game is due to release in 2018, so depending on how much content has been created in the game, this may not impact that release window.

His profile shows that Gilmour has worked on this project for nearly three years, as his ending date is listed as August. The profile also still shows him being employed by Bioware, but clearly it has come to light that he is not working on this project. Overall, Gilmour has spent seventeen years with the company contributing to major franchises.
