Star Wars Battlefront II’s The Last Jedi DLC Dated

EA and DICE have revealed when The Last Jedi DLC will hit Star Wars Battlefront II, which includes a new map and two new heroes.

The Last Jedi season of content kicks off on December 5 where players will have to choose whether to join the First Order or Resistance. Your choice will carry through the entire month of December, and you’ll receive special challenges that grant your faction specific rewards.

On December 13, Finn and Captain Phasma join the hero roster, but they won’t be ‘free’ per-say. In order to play as either hero, they must first be purchased with in-game Credits. DICE has not revealed how many Credits you’ll need to purchase each hero. The faction that completes the most challenges that week will earn a special Crate of items for Finn or Phasma.

December 13 also adds other new content inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This includes the new map Crait, Starfighter Assault map of D’qar will join as well, Tallie Lintra’s RZ-2 A-wing as a new hero ship, and a new ability for Poe Dameron’s T-70 X-wing.

Finally, new chapters will be added to the single player campaign. In Star Wars Battlefront II: Resurrection, players will get to see the First Order’s rise to power. These new chapters will be available December 13, but it wasn’t made clear if they’ll be added in for free.

Star Wars Battlefront II is out November 17 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
