Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus appears to have been a success with a sizeable amount of positive reviews from critics, but it’s not the end of the player’s trek through Nazi-occupied America as Bethesda have today confirmed release dates for its post-launch content, The Freedom Chronicles, which sees the story revolve around three separate characters outside of the events of the main campaign. The Freedom Chronicles is available as stand-alone DLC episodes or through the game’s Season Pass which is now available.
So far the first episode, Episode Zero — which introduces these new characters — has been made available but now we have a road-map on when each of the three remaining episodes will be released. First up is The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe which focuses on a former professional quarterback by the name of Joseph Stallion and will be available December 14. Following that, players take the role of ex-OSS agent Jessica Valiant and will release just over a month later on January 30. Finally, releasing in March of next year, the closing episode finds Captain Gerald Wilkins travel all the way to Alaska in what should be an interesting climax to Colossus’ expanded narrative.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is available now across PS4, Xbox One & PC with a Switch version due to release sometime in early 2018. You can read up on our review of a game we considered an enjoyable action packed first person shooter experience, right here.
