Pokémon GO went through its ups and downs since launching back in July 2016. However, a new feature begins this week which hopes to get players back out in droves! The goal is to catch 3 billion Pokémon but you won’t go at it alone.
A goal is being set for trainers to capture billions of Pokémon in the first ever Global Catch Challenge. Attaining this massive feat will reward all players with a bunch of goodies. Items will be given to everyone once certain markers are met. Then, if all 3 billion are caught, Kangaskhan and Farfetch’d will be made available all over the world. Participants from across the planet can take part in the event.
There are also special occasions being held in Japan. Let’s hope Pokémon GO hasn’t bitten off more than they can chew! Check out the promotional trailer below for more information.
