Trainers adventuring through Alola can rest easy now as Pokémon Bank is compatible with the latest titles. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon launched last week and we’re already receiving this transferring system. It took awhile for all the kinks to work out with the previous games, but it’s smooth sailing from here.
Those unfamiliar with the feature will pick things up in no time. Pokémon Bank allows you to store Pokémon from previous generations into a storage device similar to the in-game PC. Then, they can bring those over to their copy of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. You can take your entire team from Pokémon X and have a reunion in Ultra Sun. Boxes can hold up to 3,000 Pokémon which is more than plenty! Make sure to remove items and be sure they are legit however, or else they won’t be able to move. There is also a small yearly fee in order to use the Bank.
If you’re feeling really ambitious, try taking a favorite Pokémon from Ruby or Sapphire and transporting it all the way to the 3DS like in this fun video seen below! For details on how it all works, visit the official Pokémon Bank website.
