Floor Kids Remains on Course for Holiday Release

The last wholly indie-focused Nintendo Direct, dubbed the Nindies Direct, this August certainly dished out a number of eye-catching and potentially-promising titles to look forward to. One of them, in both its aesthetic and its actual gameplay, was Floor Kids — MERJ Media’s freestyle, rhythm-based game that has you dance-off either in single-player or multiplayer with, what the game claims, over a hundred unique and varied dance moves.

We haven’t heard much of the game outside of its unveiling in August but the developer has released a statement today reaffirming its target of releasing on Nintendo Switch during the Holiday period this year. You can see the game’s hand-drawn visuals and gameplay in action below.
