Roguelikes can be addictive and entertaining affairs, providing that they have enough in the gameplay side — and the mechanics that comprise it — to make up for the algorithms and randomly-generated formulas that make up a decent portion of the game’s back-end. And Humble Bundle just might have a potential answer in the form of Wizard of Legend, a newly-announced mash-up of Devil May Cry-styled hack-and-slash and Street Fighter-esque combo-building set in a dungeon crawler-fashioned layout.
The game also features local co-op and will allow players to customise their move-set from anyone of the game’s one hundred-plus spells, referred to as arcana, that are added to the more players progress through the game. Wizard of Legend will be available across PS4, Xbox One, Switch & PC sometime in the first quarter of next year. Check out the game’s announcement trailer below.
