Despite this being Mega Man’s 30th anniversary milestone, Capcom has been extremely silent when it comes to one of their biggest franchises, still ticking off fans desperately hoping for a new game. However, that may change soon, as it has been announced by Capcom that they’ll be holding a special livestream dedicated to the Blue Bomber’s 30th anniversary on December 4, notably emphasizing to the press that “You won’t want to miss it.”
The festivities will include giveaways and a pre-show with trivia and special guests Mega Ran, ProJared, and Usedpizza, but of course, everyone is now wondering if there will be any big announcements during the main event. Will it be something as minor as new merchandise or ports of existing games, a peek at the upcoming animated series set to appear on Cartoon Network next year, something major like Mega Man 11 or another entirely new entry, or a mix of above? To find out, just tune into Capcom’s Twitch page on Monday, December 4 at 11 AM PST, and stay tuned to Hardcore Gamer for any reveals from the event.
