Xenoblade fans have been receiving a healthy stream of media in these last couple of months leading up to the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Nintendo and Monolith have been quite liberal with the details surrounding the game, taking every opportunity to show-off the game’s plot, characters, world and improved gameplay. That said, those looking for a refresher before diving in will find all they need in this newest trailer.
Heroes are reintroduced, life on the backs of giants is displayed, mysterious fates are hinted at and combat abounds. Also, it seems that shouting one’s special attack at the top of their lungs is the best way to power it up in the world of Xenoblade. One would think that would give the enemy a chance to guard against it, but don’t worry about that. Just shout it. Belt that attack out for all the world to hear! That’s how all the great Drivers do it.
