GBA’s Gekido Advance: Kintaro’s Revenge Coming to Nintendo Switch

If there’s always something we could use more of in our lives, it’s Game Boy Advance games. While a fairly-forgotten game like Gekido Advance: Kintaro’s Revenge may seem like an odd choice to revive, that’s exactly what Italian developer Naps Team is doing. The developer took to Twitter today to announce that the beat ’em up will be released soon for Nintendo Switch.

The game was originally released in 2003 as a sequel to PlayStation’s Gekido: Urban Fighters.

Outside the key art seen below, no other details were shared, but we’ll be sure to report back when we here more.

They only seem to make one game every two generations….. how are they still around?

They got cool anime style, but seriously…. how are they still around? Is it just one guy who owns the name and every couple decades he’s like, “Y’know what? I’m gonna make one game again. Naps Team is back!”
