Techland has announced, due to much demanded fan request, Dying Light their parkour zombie survival game is getting a stand-alone PvP DLC in 2018 titled Bad Blood. Bad Blood will follow suit with the popularity of Battle Royal games PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite, but with that parkour twist.
Techland stating this news “as a response to numerous fan requests for a PvP approach to Dying Light, and the recent popularity of the Battle Royale genre among the survival horror fans”, simple as that.
Bad Blood is the second stand-alone DLC for Dying Light, with the big focus on PvP. Bad Blood will not follow the typical hundred player approach like PUBG does, but instead will be six players dropped into the map having to scavenge, survive and evacuate before night falls. Space is limited on the evac-chopper though, with players having to collect blood samples to buy seats for a way out.
Players will not only have to survive each other, but even work together to take down zombie bosses to get those blood samples. Be careful though, those same allies might turn on you to get more blood samples of their own, ensuring they have a way out. The more samples a player has the more likely they are to get a ride out of a zombie nightmare.
Dying Light: Bad Blood will be out sometime in 2018 and players can sign up for a global play-test on the official website.
