Wargaming has announced the latest War Stories campaign for its F2P World of Tanks. Called Runaway Tiger, this campaign will take an alternate direction on history. This three-part storyline will involve players infiltrating a Tiger production facility in North Africa as the course of events during the Battle of El Alamein will change. The Allies have secretly gained access to this German production facilty with the goal of escaping with a prototype of the Panzerkampfwagen tank. Players will encounter waves of challenges that include face-offs against Tiger prototypes.
Runaway Tiger will also include new music composted by legendary gaming composer Inon Zur (Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Crysis). Inon’s former service in a tank platoon will help him recreate the perfect soundtrack for World of Tanks. This campaign is free on all consoles and will deliver over a dozen hours of single-player and cooperative content.
