Nintendo has always been one for creative projects, and the new Nintendo Labo keeps that idea alive. It’s a build and play experience that combines traditional games with a non-traditional way to play them. You build the accessories the game requires using pre-crafted cardboard – offering up a DIY-esque element to gaming that has never been seen before on a mainstream console. The Switch itself will show videos on how to properly craft things like paper jetpacks, pedals, pianos, and joysticks. Markers will be included to tailor every Labo set to the individual user. Nintendo Labo releases on April 20, but has no pricing information available currently.
