Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco have announced the Porsche Legends Pack, the second expansion pack for Project Cars 2. This will be available in early March for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. 70 years from the very first Porsche in 1948, the Porsche 356, the game will celebrate this achievement by including nine legendary cars that have been hand-picked from the storied history of Porsche. It will also include one FIA-certified track intimately associated with Porsche. This will be the first time in any simulated racing game that this has happened. Also included in the expansion are twenty liveries, nine community events, and five new career events.
Of the nine Porsche’s in this pack, the current GT-runner the 2017 Porsche 911 RSR will add to this elite brand in Project Cars 2. Other cars consist of the 1972 917/10, which was dubbed the “Can-Am Killer”. It featured two huge turbos to create a 1,200bhp monster. There will be quite a bit of variety here to test your skills from different generations of racing.
Lastly, Slightly Mad Studios also announced Update 4 for Project Cars 2. this will include numerous performance and stability updates, gameplay balance tweaking, UI and render enhancements, and extensive AI improvements across many locations and vehicle classes. The entire changelog can be viewed here. Update 4 is already available on PC via Steam and soon will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
