GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is ever evolving. A digital TCG, taking full liberties with the Witcher Universe, Gwent goes beyond just the lore of the three Witcher games and delves into material found only in the original books. Players have had good and bad things to say about the game as it’s developed and taken shape over the course of its open beta cycle, but tomorrow marks another great change in the game: a new game mode. What it can actually be is frankly up in the air, even with the usage of Gaunter O’Dimm in the teaser — a devil incarnate-type character from The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone DLC expansion — there isn’t much to go on concerning what the new mode will entail. Will the game finally receive single-player content like the delayed Thronebreaker campaign? Or will it be something trickier and mysterious, in keeping with O’Dimm’s own role in the game’s plot?
For now, see the teaser for the announcement below. The actual announcement will go down tomorrow at 9 PM CET, on CD Projekt Red’s Twitch stream. GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
