Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has revealed that man’s best friend will have a role to play in the much-anticipated Last of Us Part II.
The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End director posted on Twitter an image of himself alongside a dog in a motion capture suit. The tweet was sent a day after the start of the Chinese New Year, with 2018 celebrating the Year of the Dog.

Naughty Dog first announced that a sequel to its critically acclaimed 2013 title was in development at PlayStation Experience in 2016.
Bruce Straley, who co-directed The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 with Druckmann, won’t be returning for Part II. He announced his departure from Naughty Dog in 2017.
Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, who voiced Joel and Ellie respectively in The Last of Us, confirmed last year that they had started to do motion capture work for The Last of Us Part II.
The Last of Us Part II received its latest trailer back at Paris Games Week 2017, with Naughty Dog also confirming some of the actors set to star in its title. One of those actors is Laura Bailey, who played Nadine Ross in Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
The Last of Us Part II will be released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Naughty Dog is yet to confirm a launch window or official release date for the title.
