Free-to-Play Card Game Fable Fortune Leaves Early Access

While it’s highly unlikely that we’ll ever return to the Fable series and the land of Albion with another large RPG again, Mediatonic and Flaming Fowl Studios have made sure it at least lives on for now through Fable Fortune, a free-to-play collectible card game. And after working on it for a while, the developers are proud to announce that the game has finally left Early Access, now available on PC and Xbox One for fans to check out.

Choosing from one of six heroes that each has their own unique cards and abilities, the game not only has online and co-op mode, but also a single-player mode if you want to check out each character’s story. And as seen below in the trailer, the alignment system is still around, which can alter a player’s looks, abilities, and cards based on the choices they make. While it certainly is difficult to compete with the likes of Hearthstone, Fable Fortune looks like it’ll certainly try to offer an entertaining experience as well. And as a bonus, players who download the game now will receive double experience and a free card pack every day until March 2, so if you’re interested in the game, there’s no better time to check it out.
