Italian developer Lunar Great Wall Studios have announced their debut title making its way to PS4, Xbox One, Switch & PC sometime in 2018 and it looks to take players down into the bowels of Victorian London with a bit more of a surreal and fantastical undertaking in the form of Another Sight. Set at the very climax of the 19th century in 1899 and borrowing a fair few steampunk elements along the way, the game centers around two primary characters. The teenager Kit whom loses her sight after the collapse of an under-construction London Underground tunnel…and Hodge, a mysterious red-furred cat that Kit stumbles upon.
Together, the two team up as they explore a hidden underworld beneath the city of London with inspiration taken from Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere novel which itself focuses around a secretive society of surreal/fantastical creatures living under the human populous above. There’s little to go on so far as actual gameplay goes in the brief trailer below, but check it out regardless and be on the look out for Lunar Great Wall’s debut when it launches later this year.
