Mario Tennis Aces will be released in June with a variety of play styles. A casual mode allows you to use a JoyCon as a tennis racket, and also have more elaborate controls with a regular controller setup. They didn’t announce any kind of racket-shaped attachment for the JoyCon, but one would expect a third party to make one just to get something on the market. Aces is the first entry in the series since Ultra Smash a few years back on the Wii U, and one that many fans are hoping winds up bringing some faith back to the series. Lapsed and new players will be able to play the game free of charge thanks to a pre-launch tournament. No release date was announced, but late May would make sense.
