Square Enix today revealed the first of six DLC fighters coming to Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.
Back in January, Square Enix gave players a small tease of what to expect from Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s DLC offerings. There would be a total of six characters added. Five would be brand new to the franchise, and one would be a returning character. Five would be from the newer half of Final Fantasy games, and only one would hail from the older half. Well, a few months after launch we finally know who that first DLC character will be.
Vayne Carudas Solidor from Final Fantasy XII is the first DLC fighter to join the battle. Vayne is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy XII and replaces Gabranth as the villain representative from that game. In combat, Vayne mostly relies on his fists, but isn’t afraid to mix in some magic. Summonable swords help add some extra weight to his attacks. His EX Skill, Writ of Conquest, provides his part with buffs and turns him into a monstrous version of his human self.
Vayne Solidor hits Dissidia Final Fantasy NT on April 26 for $5.99 as a standalone purchase, or as part of the $29.99 Season Pass.
