Third Editions’ Kickstarter Reaches Goal, NieR: Automata Book Goal Announced

With twenty days remaining on their Kickstarter to bring English translations to books detailing the development and lore of Final Fantasy VIII and the second volumes for books on Dark Souls and The Legend of Zelda, Third Editions reached their goal of 74,000 dollars. As things tend to go with Kickstarter, this means that additional stretch goals have been announced, including a book dedicated to the unique works of Yoko Taro, the mastermind behind Drakengard and NieR, featuring a foreword penned by the maverick Japanese director himself. These titles are quite unique as fans of the series, and also some of the more memorable titles out there. Reaching the goal of 123,000 dollars will allow Third Editions to release this title in 2018 as opposed to a later date.

Full details about the Kickstarter campaign can be found here. Hardcover Gamer recently spent some time with their book BioShock: From Rapture to Columbia and our write up could possibly offer some insight to those who may be curious about Third Editions books but aren’t quite sure what to expect.
