UPDATE (3/29): Square Enix has made Life Is Strange Episode 1: Chrysalis available for free on the App Store.
ORIGINAL STORY: Life Is Strange Episode 4: Dark Room and Episode 5: Polarized have finally been released for the iOS port of Dontnod Entertainment’s acclaimed episodic adventure title.
As part of a new update, Version 1.2, Black Wing Foundation and Turn Me Up Games launched the final two episodes of Life Is Strange alongside bug fixes and improvements.
According to Black Wing’s patch notes, issues relating to saving, loading and the iCloud saves have been addressed in Life Is Strange.
Version 1.2 also fixes issues with “some of the Social functions” and different bugs in the title, while improvements have been made to the port’s user interface and controls.
Square Enix announced plans for the Life Is Strange mobile port back in 2017. The port initially launched with Episode 1: Chrysalis, Episode 2: Out of Time and Episode 3: Chaos Theory.
Episode 1 is priced at $2.99 on the App Store, while the Life Is Strange Season Pass includes the four remaining episodes for $8.99.
Life Is Strange has been confirmed for a release on Android devices in 2018, but an official release date has not been revealed.
Hardcore Gamer reviewed the Life Is Strange port and said its “arrival on the mobile market is surely a statement of intent from Square Enix,” adding that its iOS version “allowed the publisher to tap into a market that Life Is Strange thrives on, with it holding its own against the console and PC version.”
In other Life Is Strange news, Square Enix confirmed that Feral Interactive would be porting Life Is Strange: Before the Storm to macOS and Linux this spring.
