For those who haven’t gotten enough of Sega’s wide array of titles released on multiple platforms, they can look forward to picking up the stylized mini Sega Genesis planned to release later this year. This will give players a simple, sleek way to play some of their Mega Drive favorites. It is currently only confirmed for release in Japan, but likely to make its way over following the Japanese release. Although we don’t know yet which titles will be included just yet, we can likely look forward to it releasing with classic titles such as the first three Sonic games and hopefully packaged with two controllers.
There is no set in stone release date at this time, but the Sega Mega Drive Mini is planned to launch in 2018 for Japan. Take a better look at the size of it in the photo below:
