A new, seemingly hand drawn game focusing on the story rather than the combat of World War I is coming from Bandai Namco, in association with Digix Art and Aardman Studios. The project is called 11-11: Memories Retold.
Word comes by way of a tweet from Bandai, who shared a short video announcing the game. The video depicts a simultaneously beautiful and war-torn landscape as a poem from John McCrae is read over it. Memories Retold is said to tell the story of two soldiers of different backgrounds working together to survive The Great War.
Journey back to World War I, the War to End All Wars and follow the story of two soldiers brought together in the most unlikely of circumstances. Look for more info on 11-11 Memories Retold (X1, PS4, PC) soon. #11-11 pic.twitter.com/LJgBNrMYXe
