Overwatch Adds Pink Mercy Skin, Partners with BCRF

Overwatch’s director, Jeff Kaplan, announced today that Blizzard is partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in an effort to contribute to the ongoing fight against breast cancer. To this end, the Overwatch team has added a special “Pink Mercy” skin to the game for players to purchase. The skin will be available from now to May 21, with all proceeds going directly to the BCRF. Check out the video below to see the new skin in action.

In addition to the skin, Blizzard will also be selling Pink Mercy t-shirts and running charity streams featuring popular Overwatch streamers each day until May 21st. Fans who watch these streams will have the chance to unlock unique sprays and player icons. Again, all proceeds from these shirts and streams will go directly to the BCRF. Those are the details, but those who want to hear it from the man himself need only watch this video.

Overwatch is currently available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For those who’ve never played it before, check out our review and see if it’s worth a look.
